Read More About Our Flow Over Stripping Process

This process includes removing all hardware (hinges, tacks, castors, glass, mirrors, etc.) from the piece being stripped. We then place it in our stripping tray where the stripping chemicals are pumped over the piece. This allows the stripper to drip off and be collected in the tank below so it can be reused to keep the piece of furniture wet during the stripping process.

When the original finish begins to bubble we scrub the piece to remove all traces of the old finish. This may require further soaking with the stripping chemical, but once the old finish is removed, the piece is moved to our wash tray where we use a pressure washer to neutralize the stripping chemical and wash away any residue. Once the piece is washed, it is set aside to air dry thoroughly.
