A local, family-owned business, Abracadabra Stripping & Refinishing is owned and operated by Wayne and Janice Kieffer. They established this business in 1998, but have over 40 years of experience in the woodworking trade. Wayne started woodworking as a hobby in his parents’ garage as a teenager and has now grown that hobby into a true art form. Wayne and Janice are proud to offer their services to the local community from their shop located just outside of Mildmay on Highway 9.
Wayne and Janice have a very simple mission: to go above and beyond their customers’ expectations by providing a magical transformation. They have a four-step process that can transform old, weathered antiques into pieces that look new and stunning.
Wayne and Janice do not limit themselves to only antiques. They excel in all types of wood restoration projects from baseboards and trim, to cabinetry, and even outdoor furniture in need of restoration. They also have local partners that can do upholstery work if needed.
